Student Work Placement

We offer placement opportunities for Social Work students who have an interest in domestic abuse.

We provide induction training and any other necessary training during your placement. Students are expected to be female, eager to learn and able to show initiative. Our work environment can be busy, demanding and sometimes challenging so you should consider this before making an approach to us. It can also be very rewarding and provide a good contrast to statutory services.

We usually split placements between residential and outreach services, ensuring you experience all the required competencies.
